Hi, I was just wondering that when we scroll down to the end of the page on any WordPress home page and click the navigational link ‘Previous Posts’ and go to Page 2 from there, the excluded category posts are visible. So perhaps it just works on the page 1 or the front page. Any idea how to solve this.

I have the exact same problem of “Four Pillars” except I do not see any permission difference on the ACE plugin folder compared to any other plugins permissions (looking on ssh connection).

This looks like exactly what I need. I want to exclude certain categories from going on the RSS feed.

Problem is – I have the plugin installed but there is no “ACE” menu in my wordpress dashboard menu. Any ideas?

Hey, Tina Cowden and Andy Stevenson – see Patrice’s comment (#17) for the fix. But, it was line 185 in my copy, not 189.

Thanks for a great plugin! Now that it’s excluding all the categories, not just 4, it’s peachy.

I have the exact same problem as Andy Stevenson above. i am only able to hide 4 catagories and that’s it. this is a fantastic plugin!! Wondering if there’s a setting somewhere that I can change to allow more catagories to be hidden. Thanks.

First, I have to say. This is one of the best SEO plugin tools that exists on WordPress. The opportunity to create focused link groups and pure silo effects gives users a real edge when targeting keywords for search.

However I have a small problem. I have 7 categories I want to exclude for my widget link. No matter what I try, I can only get the widget to exclude completely 4. In view ‘posts’ everything works fine, when I open a ‘Page’ I get 3 extra categories that I don’t want to display? If I change the categories I want to hide, I still get 3 extra categories, but this time different ones? Any ideas. Do I need to increase something?
